The visitor centre is housed on the site of the largest Pictish fort in Scotland. It contains a model of what the fort would have been like in about 500 AD, accompanied by a history of Burghead to present times. Two of the original bull stones which have only been found in Burghead and a Pictish hunting scene are also on display. Open April to end of September, 12 midday until 4 pm daily. Groups outwith times by arrangement. Disabled access.
