Whithorn Museum

Dumfries and Galloway

Whithorn is the cradle of Christianity in Scotland and is associated with Scotland's first saint, Ninian. Long remembered by tradition, this settlement has been revealed by archaeological excavation. The centre tells the story of Whithorn through the ages using an audiovisual show and exhibitions including artefacts and reconstruction drawings.
