Laidhay Croft Museum

Highland

Typical rush-thatched Caithness longhouse incorporating dwelling, stable and byre under one roof. House furnished and with artefacts common early 1900s. Stable has horse harness. Byre housing small hand tools pertaining to croft live. There is a separate cruck constructed thatched barn with threshing mills and bruisers.
