Biggar Museum Trust rescued this 17th century farmhouse from its original site at Wiston about 13km away. The Trust rebuilt and refurbished it in the Burn Braes in 1975. Here you return to the troubled century of the signing of the National Covenant and the 'Killing Times' when people were hunted down for worshipping in the open fields rather than attending state controlled churches.
