Blairs Museum
Blairs Museum is housed in part of the former St. Mary’s College. From 1829 − 1986, the college was the national junior seminary for young boys studying for the Roman Catholic priesthood. The college closed in 1986 due to falling numbers and economic circumstances.
It offers a unique look into Scotland’s Catholic history and heritage, with collections covering more than 500 years. It houses an impressive collection of paintings, sacred silver and gold, church textiles and Jacobite memorabilia.
The museum holds events and activities during the year, including exhibitions and concerts.
