British Golf Museum

Opened in 1990, the British Golf Museum’s collections tell the story of British golf, from the seventeenth century to the present day and includes the men’s and women’s games, British and international, amateur and professional.

There are over 16,000 items on display, covering prizes, equipment, decorative art, film, photographs and archives. The whole collection is a Recognised Collection of National Significance, formally acknowledged as being of great importance to the life and culture of Scotland and internationally significant.

There is something for everyone at the museum’s gift shop, from golfing accessories to a great range of St. Andrews souvenirs.
