Creetown Gem Rock Museum

The Gem Rock Museum is owned and run by the Stephenson family and has one of the finest private collections of gemstones, minerals, crystals, rocks and fossils in the UK.

The collection includes many fine and rare examples of crystal found in the UK. On display are many other specimens from around the world, including the 4.5 billion year old, three kilogram meteorite and a dinosaur dung. Also on display is a set of exquisitely cut replicas of the world’s largest diamonds.

Visit the Crystal Cave and see crystals and minerals displayed in a realistic cave setting. Enjoy the fluorescent display, where ordinary looking rock specimens suddenly glow, brought about by the minerals’ natural compound.

Enjoy delicious home baking at the Prospectors’ Pantry, then browse the gift shop and gem setting workshop.
