Grampian Transport

The museum allows visitors to follow the history of travel and transport, with their impressive range of transport exhibits, displays and DVD presentations. The museum is a living museum and many exhibits are hands on, climb aboard and even ride on. The collections include everything from vehicles and motor parts to motor signs and engineering.

The “Traveller’s Rest Tea Room” offers tasty soups and freshly made sandwiches, snacks and ice cream, plus tea/coffee and cold drinks. It is open every Saturday, Sunday and weekday from 1 − 15 April and 30 June - 2 September. The Museum Shop offers a wide range of souvenirs, transport publications and a great choice of models and lots more. There is also a tower based children’s play area on the front lawn, where they can play safely whilst you sit and relax.
