Riverside Museum
The Riverside Museum has over 3,000 objects on display. Visitors are even allowed to climb aboard some of the exhibits to get a feel for vintage public transport. There is a recreated street from 1895-1930 and two other display areas, depicting shops from the 1930s to the 1980s, giving an insight into Glasgow’s distant and more recent past.
The museum now has dedicated IT Stations, so visitors can share their thoughts about the museum and give feedback on what they might like to see on display in the future.
The café at the Riverside Museum has magnificent views overlooking the River Clyde. They serve hot & cold breakfasts, sandwiches & cakes and have a main lunch menu, plus a children’s menu.
