The Gordon Highlanders Museum

The museum is independently self financed and governed by a charitable trust. It is housed in the former home of the nineteenth century Scottish artist, Sir George Reid PRSA.

They are one of the most celebrated regiments of the British Army and are well known for their courage, good conduct and professionalism. The Highlanders were merged with Scotland’s five other infantry regiments to form The Royal Regiment of Scotland in 2006.

The museum is home to the regimental treasures of The Gordon Highlanders, with collections that include, weapons, uniforms, silver, 4,000 medals and 12 Victoria Crosses and much more.

The Museum has a new Tearoom and shop for visitors to enjoy.
