West Highland Museum
The West highland Museum is situated in the centre of Fort William and its collections tell the story of the area, its history and its people. It holds an outstanding collection of exhibits relating to the Jacobites and Bonnie Prince Charlie. The museum covers all aspects of West Highland history, with displays about Highland life, archaeology and its military history, including the history of Fort William.
There is an illustrated guide to the museum, available for £1.00 (price may change). The museum gift shop offers a selection of books on different topics, as well as crafts, toys, glassware and souvenirs.
