Writers Museum
The Writer’s Museum celebrates the lives of three very well known Scottish writers - Robert Burns, Robert Louis Stevenson and Sir Walter Scott. Each authors story is told through personal items, manuscripts, portraits and first editions. Personal things to view include, Burns’ writing desk, Scott’s rocking horse and Stevenson’s riding boots.
The museum shop offers a selection of books and keepsakes, from vintage style stationery featuring authors from Scotland and England, fun coasters with Shakespeare quotations and also quotation fridge magnets.
