Salary: �24,942 - �28,422 per annum
The Scottish Museums Council (SMC) is the lead body for the funding, development and advocacy of over 340 museums and galleries in Scotland.
This is an exciting opportunity to work in one of Scotland�s key cultural organisations with a diverse membership, a dedicated staff and a Board committed to SMC�s vision of a welcoming museums and galleries sector that opens doors and celebrates collections, inspiring creativity, learning and enjoyment for all.
We are looking for an experienced manager to support the future development of SMC�s membership base who has experience of the museum and heritage sector and marketing or communications.
Your responsibilities will include leading on membership and audience development; providing developmental advice and supporting museums engagement with SMC led external programmes such as Show Scotland and Their Past Your Future; and communicating appropriate fundraising opportunities for museums.
