Skills Training to Facilitate Access

City of Edinburgh Council - �117,000
Partners: Glasgow City Council, Paolo, Communities Scotland, Learning Teaching Scotland, the Scottish Funding Councils and the Workers Educational Association.

This project is encouraging community education/learning practitioners to  use the full range of cultural resources held by museums, libraries and archives.

Stage 2 of the work is being undertaken by consultants from Heritage Futures,  Glasgow Caledonian University. The team are currently working on:

There will be a major conference in autumn 2005 to promote the evaluation of phase 2 of the work, and to encourage debate and action across the cultural heritage and the community education sectors.
