University of Glasgow - 98,978
Core Partners:  Learning Teaching Scotland, Scottish Fisheries Museum
Partners:  Argyll and Bute Region Social Inclusion Partnership, Soroba Young Family Centre, Castlebay Secondary School, Cumbernauld Primary School, Dumbarton Academy, T.C. Williams High School, USA.

The Hunterian Museum at the University of Glasgow with Learning Teaching Scotland and the Scottish Fisheries Museum propose to review ICT capability in the Scottish museum sector and ultimately to highlight the enormous potential for using museum collections for e-learning. The project partners will work with schools in Dumbarton, Cumbernauld, Oban, Barra and Virginia, USA to test exemplar resources. The results will include a good practice guide to hardware and software resources to be made available through SMC s web site and the National Grid for Learning.
