A CPD Opportunity for Community Educators with an interest in cultural resources
As part of a Strategic Change Initiative Project funded by the Scottish Museums Council, heritage experts at Glasgow Caledonian University�s heritage>futures network have teamed up with Gordon Mackie of the University of Strathclyde to develop a pilot 10-point credited Master�s module, Communities, Culture and Heritage.
This module will be delivered on a part-time basis to practitioners involved in community learning and development (in both the voluntary and public sectors) who already hold a BA in Community Education, or whose prior experience enables them to pursue learning opportunities at this level.
Between February and May 2005, students on the module will address current professional and policy issues surrounding access to cultural resources in the context of community learning and development.
