One of the key ways we support and develop the non-national Scottish Museums sector is through our Grants Programme. We want to invest in projects and initiatives that align with our vision and strategies.
What is our grant policy?
Our vision for a welcoming museums and galleries sector that opens doors and celebrates collections, inspiring creativity, learning and enjoyment for all, sits at the heart of our grant giving policy.
Who is eligible?
All full members of SMC are eligible to apply for grants. The applicant could be a manager, curator, educator, cultural coordinator or volunteer as long as the application has authorised member support.
What kind of grants are available?
There are two strands to the programme: The Main Grants Programme and the Small Grants Programme. For guidelines, application forms and information about SMCs two grant programmes please click on the following links.
