Introduction to oral history

This new course will give you a practical introduction to oral history interviewing with an opportunity to handle recording equipment and discuss some of the issues around oral history, life stories and memories.

The day will also cover how to get started, who to interview, approaches to questioning, interview dos and don�ts, what to do after the interview e.g. transcription, copyright and archiving and the evaluation of this work.
